Effective Diagnosis & Prevention of Sinusitis

While not all cases of sinusitis are preventable, it is important to understand the importance of sinus health and timely treatment.

Diagnosis

Our specialists may gather a nasal culture, perform a nasal endoscopy, nasal biopsy or gather imaging of your sinuses. If we suspect allergies have contributed to your sinus issues, we may perform an allergy test.

Prevention

Treating your allergies can help prevent recurrent sinus infections. Daily saline rinses are effective and healthy for the nasal mucosa. Avoiding allergens and seeking care quickly when sinus issues start can help prevent complications.

Balloon Sinuplasty

Our in-office sinuplasty surgery is a safe, highly effective solution to blocked sinuses, structural nasal issues, and chronic drainage difficulties. Under local anesthetic, a small balloon is inflated in the nasal cavity to drain and unblock sinuses.

Quick Recovery

Because this procedure doesn't include the cutting of tissue or removal of bone, patients typically return to work after a few days.

Lasting Relief

Patients suffering from chronic sinusitis typically report lasting benefits and improvement in their quality of life after this surgery.
